A Vietjet Air flight encountered a technical problem leaving several passengers to be hospitalised. The incident occurred on flight VJ 356 on the HCM City-Buon Ma Thuot route at around 11:15 pm on Thursday. The aircraft is expected to be towed to the technical area for repair this morning While being about to land at Buon Ma Thuot Airport, the Airbus A321’s wings seemed to have been struck, making them lean and touch the ground while slowing down on the runway. As a result, the two front wheels of the aircraft were punctured, creating a loud noise. The crew immediately urged passengers to urgently leave the aeroplane through four emergency doors. Rescue teams were then sent to the site. Some passengers were injured while exiting from the aircraft. The ambulance took the injuried passengers to hospital A representative from Vietjet Air told DTiNews said the injured passengers have been discharged from hospital. The plane VN-A653 was received by Vietjet from Airbus just some two weeks ago. The budget airline said they will co-operate with aviation authorities to examine the incident and the firm will compensate the affected passengers. Buon Me Thuot Airport has been temporarily closed for the investigation and settlement of the case. The aircraft is expected to be towed to the technical area for repair this morning.
