After visiting the Danang Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Indian President, accompanied by his delegation, also visited the UNESCO world heritage My Son Sanctuary in Quang Nam Province, which is considered a business gateway for many countries. At a meeting with the Indian President, Nguyen Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Party Committee of Quang Nam Province, expressed the province’s hope for continuing to receive support from the Indian Government for protecting and renovating cultural relics, alongside a wish for a good trip in Vietnam to the president. It is reported that the Danang Museum of Cham Sculpture and the National Museum Institute of History of Art, Conservation and Museology in India have signed a memorandum of understanding on the compilation and publication of the catalogue “Cham Sculpture of Vietnam and the relationship with Indian art,” with an aim to study 50 sculptures in the collection of the Danang museum.
