Celebrity chef picked as Big Bowl brand ambassador
Vietnamese celebrity chef Phan Ton Tinh Hai has been picked as brand ambassador of the restaurant chain Big Bowl which is known for pho (noodle soup served with beef or chicken).
In July and August, guests at 15 Big Bowl restaurants nationwide will have the opportunity to savor a new menu of signature dishes prepared by the chef such as slow cooked boneless beef shank with fresh local herbs and a ginger sauce, spicy beef salad with papaya, lemon and chili, spicy chicken salad with lime leaf, and chicken rolls with shrimp and pork.
The ambassador is expected to visit all the restaurants next month to share experience with the restaurant’s cooking team to improve the quality of dishes.
“This is a great chance for me to spread my culinary inspiration to locals and expatriates through these dishes,” Hai said.
Hai, who was born into a family in Hue City, inherited the passion for cooking from her mother. She achieved a Master’s degree in food and nutrition in the U.S. and has traveled the world.
As lecturer and principal of The Mint Culinary School in Phu Nhuan District, a cooking school for locals and foreigners, she has emerged as one of the most famous chefs in Vietnam thanks to reality cooking shows Master Chef Vietnam, Master Chef Junior and Iron Chef Vietnam.
