While Han bridge is 256 metres long, Dang bridge is 252 metres in length. The two bridges are 12 metres wide. The concrete-reinforced bridge will be built at a total cost of over VND170 billion from Central and city budget. The projects are due for completion in 2017. They are two important bridges linking Tien Lang, Vinh Bao districts with Hai Phong city, as well as connecting the roads of 351, 352, 354, 402 with Highway No.37 and Highway No.10. The bridges are expected to shorten the travel time between Hai Phong and Thai Binh province, and other localities in the region as a whole, thus contributing to socio-economic development in the project area. The pontoon bridges in the areas failed to ensure road safety conditions. Meanwhile, the flow of people and vehicles on these two bridges are quite crowded and tend to be high.
