The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences has announced that Jimmy Kimmel will return to host the 90th Oscars ceremony.
“Hosting the Oscars was a highlight of my career,” he said in a statement. “If you think we screwed up the ending this year, wait until you see what we have planned for the 90th anniversary show!”
Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd are also returning as producer’s of the 90th award ceremony.
The 90th Academy Awards will air on March 4th, 2018, on ABC.
ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey said: “After just one year, we can’t imagine anyone else hosting the Oscars. Jimmy’s skilful command of the stage is invaluable on a night when anything can happen and does”.
