According the Ministry of Culture, a Tet 2017 exhibition and fair will take place at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre for Culture and Arts at No2, Hoa Lu street, Hanoi from January 18th to 21st (the 21st to 27th day of the last lunar month).
The event will be held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with provinces and cities.
Products and foods related to the traditional Tet celebration in localities will be introduced.
There will be artistic performances, cultural exchanges and sports activities during the event to create a cheerful atmosphere among people./.

The Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) plans to import nearly 2.2 million tons/cubic meter of petrol and oil to meet the consumption demand during the Lunar New Year (Tet) 2017, a 10% increase over a year earlier. This included about 750,000 tons/cubic meter imported in December 2016, up 12% over a year earlier; 730,000 tons/cubic meter in January 2017, up 10% and some 700,000 tons/cubic meter in February 2017, up 8%. Train tickets for the Lunar New year (Tet) 2017 will be sold from October 1st, through the websites http://dsvn.vn, http://www.vetau.com.vn and other ticket selling agencies, reported the Vietnam Railway Corporation (VNR). The train tickets are applied from January 17th to February 12th, 2017 (from December 20th to January 16th on the lunar calendar). From September 25th to 30th, VNR will release about 20% of its total Tet tickets for students of universities and workers of industrial zones.
