Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin is expected to visit India and attend the “Vibrant Gujarat Summit” in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from January 9th -14th.
The Vibrant Gujarat Summit will provide a good opportunity for India to evaluate its ties with Russia in the changing geopolitical situation.
As scheduled, on the sideline of the summit, Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Dmitry Rogozin will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Apart from the political and strategic issues, the Modi-Rogozin talks will also focus on strengthening the economic partnership, as both countries have set their sights on increasing bilateral trade. There will also be discussions related to bilateral defence and energy projects./.
