The website of Vietnam Society of Travel Agents (VISTA) was launched at www.vista.net.vn to provide information about Vietnam tourism. Notably, tourists can visit this website to get more information about travel destinations, hotels, tour guides, and tourism agents. Also, an English version of this website will be opened in 2012.
VISTA, established in December 2010, is a social organisation of all tourism agents and tour guides. On this occasion, VISTA and the French-Vietnamese Centre for Management Education (CFVG) introduced a program for Masters’ degree of European standard business management in Vietnam, aiming to train professionals for Vietnam tourism.

Authority in the northern province of Quang Ninh revoked business license and certificates of shops which violated regulation. The inter-department mission group yesterday stopped a car which carried 38 Chinese tourists. Travel agents worry that a proposed airfare hike could see local tourists abandon their plans to travel domestically in favor of going abroad. A group of all local airlines have asked the government to raise the domestic airfare price cap this November, saying operation costs have increased due to higher fuel prices and exchange rates, according to the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam.
