Toyota Classics returns to Ho Chi Minh City The 14th Toyota Classics is expected to leave a deep impression on Ho Chi Minh City audiences on the night of November 11. Under the baton of Canadian conductor Charles Olivieri-Munroe, who has been the NCPT's chief conductor since 1997, the 175-year-old philharmonic will play world famous classical music. In Ha Noi on November 5, their repertoire will include the Intermezzo from the opera Goyescas by W. A. Mozart, the Overtune to the opera The Secret by Bedrich Smetana, the Hommage a Mozart by Jacques Ibert, and excerpts from A Midsummer Night's Dream by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy. HCMC Opera House hosts Toyota Classics Concert

The 14th Toyota Classics Concert will take place at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on Nov 3. Toyota Classics 2011 poster. Event organizers, the Toyota Motor Corporation and the Vietnam Performing Arts Center, said in a press release that this year's event will feature the return of the Northeast German Philharmonic Orchestra. The orchestra will perform with "exciting new arrangements" under the batons of Thomas Dorsch, Pamela Nicholson and Vasko Vassilev, the press release said. Local diva joins visiting orchestra for City concert

The Northeast German Philharmonic Orchestra will perform with artists from around the world in HCM City on Nov. 3. Conducted by Thomas Dorsch, the concert will feature 15 masterpieces played by pianist Pamela Nicholson and violinist Vasco Vassilev, accompanied by Vietnamese soprano Pham Thi Duyen Huyen. The orchestra, founded in 1993 with the merging of the Greifswald and Stralsund theatres, has become internationally acclaimed. Today, Toyota Motor Vietnam officially introduced the Toyota Classics 2011, which will take place in Ho Chi Minh City Theatre on November 3. The first member of Vietnamese Communist Youth Union – Ly Tu Trong

Ly Tu Trong was one of eight young people who were recognized as the first member of Vietnamese Communist Youth Union. His self-confidently declared: "the way of youths is no one but only revolutionary way". President Ho Chi Minh used to tell about him: "The first member of Vietnamese Communist Youth Union, he is the communist who has fought for the national revolution and for the Party till the last breath". WB project helps Hanoi cut red tape surrounding land use rights Hanoi has accelerated the process of granting land use rights, with more than 40,500 certificates issued for commercial housing projects in 2014. The result is attributable to the implementation of the World Bank-funded Vietnam Land Administration Project (VLAP) across Dan Phuong, Quoc Oai and Ung Hoa districts since 2008. To date, the project has processed the registration for 404,481 out of 454,480 local plots and granted 260,418 land use rights certificates. The VLAP aims to increase stakeholder access to land information services by developing an improved land administration system in selected provinces. The objective is to ensure that land users, including businesses and households, have access to more efficient, reliable, and transparent services from local land administrators. 400 volunteers successfully complete tasks at IPU 132

(VOVworld) – Nearly 400 volunteers have successfully completed their tasks at the recent 132nd General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Hanoi. The volunteer launching campaign for the IPU 132.
