Caravelle runs Michelin-star chef fashion dinner

Chef Coutanceau owns a namesake restaurant in La Rochelle.

For diners at Reflections restaurant, he has prepared an a la carte menu, a four-course degustation menu, as well as a testing menu featuring an appetizer of caramelized seared scallops and coral lobster sauce, a main course of tuna and vegetables piperade with grilled sardine tapenade and a pineapple ravioli with lychee ice cream, passion fruit sorbet and angel wings for dessert.

During the event, Lam will also showcase 30 of her modern style ao dai (Vietnamese long dress) and other inspired dresses.

Last but not least there will be an exhibition on fashion, art and gastronomy of famous French photographer Jean Luc Pechinot.

All the great works will take place at the private room of Reflections Restaurant on level 3 of the hotel which is located at 19-23 Lam Son Square, District 1, tel: (08) 3823 4999.

Previously, chef Coutanceau conducted a cooking class to local media and invited guests to prepare a selected menu including a medley of mussels and shells, as well as grilled red mullet with shrimp tempura, smoked leek and raspberry vinaigrette.
